Tropicals are like annuals in our area they do not like cold weather but the good thing is they like the high heat and are very drought tolerant. Tropicals are usually larger than annuals, so they fill up a space quickly as it gets hotter and they have lots of color and beautiful blooms. Tropicals are great to use around pools or on your deck and patio, but they can also be used in the landscape for that wonderful tropical feeling. Most popular tropicals are elephant ears, bougainvillea, bannana trees, citrus trees, tropical hibiscus, mandavillea vine, diplandena vine, lantana, caladium, ferns, palms, princess flower, brugmansia ( semi hardy ), oleander, shrimp plant, duranta, cat wiskers, goldfish plant and many more.

Tropicals are very forgiving plants and will grow in a wide variety of conditions and soil.
