Spring
is a great time to plant flowers, bulbs, perennials, vegetables,
shrubs and trees because of the changing of seasons, its not to
hot and its not to cold it is just right. When you plant in the
spring plants do not stress as bad because of cool nights and
they do not require as much water, during this mild time your
plants are able to root in and become established so when the
weather turns hotter they can withstand that high heat and still
do not require as much water. Most plant losses occur from poor
quality plants and roots and over watering. High quality

Spring
is an excellent time to get out in your yard and garden to do
some spring clean up. Trim back any dead limbs on your trees and
shrubs, clean up any dead debris from over wintered perennials,
pull out any old annuals from the previous year that's dead or
you want to replace. Rake any leaves off your lawn to allow the
grass to grow and apply a pre emergent weed killer to your lawn
to stop the weeds before they start. Pull any weeds from the flower
beds and apply your fertilizer. Now you are ready to plant and
enjoy. |
