Mountain Pride is a large hybrid tomato that produces
good yields of 8-10 ounce tomatoes, Mountain Pride was developed by NC
State University for production in north carolina it has good disease
resistant and the tomatoes are smooth, great flavor, producing well in
heat and cold, excellent for slicing and cooking. Tomato's need
calcium to grow healthy so add lime, bone meal, crushed egg shells, epsom
salt ( for magnesium) or composted manure for strong plants and help stop
blossom end rot. Heirloom tomato's are not disease
resistant so prevent during summer with garden disease control or organically
with copper sprays.
