Mortgage Lifter is ex large heirloom tomato that produces
1-2 lb tomatoes of a pink color and the tomato has a meaty beefsteak sweet
tomato flavor excellent for canning and slicing, mortgage lifter was developed
in the 1930's to help pay off a mans mortgage. Tomatos need calcium
to grow healthy so add lime, bone meal, crushed egg shells, epsom salt
( for magnesium) or composted manure for strong plants and help stop blossom
end rot. Heirloom tomato's are not disease resistant
so prevent during summer with garden disease control or organically with
copper sprays.
